Our scholarship committee is part of the Eurasia Region of the Church of the Nazarene. The Eurasia Regional Office is committed to data protection. For this reason, all data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR).

The following data will be processed:

The data will be used to process your recommendation and to communicate with you. Your data is handled internally within the scholarship committee only and not passed on. Your data will be stored on servers within the Eurasia Region. The processing ends with the finishing of your degree and the end of your participation in the scholarship program. After this your data will not be processed actively anymore and will be kept for archive purposes. The data will not be published.

Since not all countries in the Eurasia Region are part of the European Union, some of our committee members may live outside the European Union. Therefore, your data may be transferred to third countries.

It should be noted that countries outside the EU are not legally bound by the European Union's data protection rules and are not considered safe third countries under the European Union's data protection rules. This means that data of individuals and organizations hosting this data can be processed or request-ed by authorities in countries outside the EU for various purposes without being able to take legal action against them. It can therefore not be ruled out that these authorities process, evaluate and permanently store data for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Your recommendation for this Eurasia Region scholarship is understood as an equivalent to a contractual basis. The processing of the data therefore takes place in accordance with § 6 para. 1 b) GDPR. The transfer of the data takes place in accordance with § 49 para. 1 b) GDPR.
